So, by now you've noticed how really boring my life really is. I don't do crazy things or tons of things; I just have murphy's law follow me.
For instance, today Ada decided she would get my phone for me when it rang... she dropped it and it landed under the oven... UNDER THE OVEN... really?
So what's happened this week.
I chipped my tooth. the one right up front... making a gift for a friend.
I made like a half dozen crafts.... I'm feeling awesome.
I need new happy pills... 'nough said.
My IBS kicked in again.... thanks for the cherry on that. Quote from that day: Ella- What is IBS and why are you calling it to attack people.
I keep forgetting to thaw my meat for dinner. didn't need to eat anyway.
Bought tons of material to make outfits: downer, gotta get everything done by Christmas.
Half of every girl I know is pregnant... but is that anything new?
A girl I "taught" in 6th grade got married... oldness.
Otherwise, I have tons of topics I could share...
The Diva Cup Expiriment (women only)
My thoughts on politics, sex, and life (highly offensive)
The Deps upgrade
School on the Brain
Scheduling and organization
Wearing a fat suit...
Anything else you'd like to hear about let me know

I'm creative, Sew What?
Here's gonna be my new label!
I have been overrun by ideas to do... Let's thank Pinterest!
There's this really funny link (I can't post it because of its obscene amount of language) that this lady does that takes pinterest pins and test them. She only seems to post the failures.
Difference for me: I feel the obsession to ONLY pin the things that I can and WILL do from pinterest. I have to work it out in my brain and see if I can pull it off cheaper, better, or quicker simpler than it was posted for. Also, it has to be useful. REally!! I am not going to do a project that I don't expect to keep...
So here is one I did this week.
I am making taggie blankets (already knew how to do this.) but I added a wrap.
You know "diapees and wipees". it's a small pocketbook that fits a wipes container and maybe if you're LUCKY, 1 diaper. Supposedly it's supposed to be helpful when you don't want to lug a diaper bag.
I found a pin for a velcro wrap that's adjustable for multiple diapers... kinda like a belt. My sweet friend Krystal is having a baby girl and she got the first pick!
you jealous? Sew What!

School (of hard Knocks)
This is What we've named our school!
You wonder why I'm writing you on the THIRD day of school... yah, that's how I'm feeling.
It's going ok, but we had a rough beginning (maybe it's cause I was late on my happy pill dose).
It started with Zoe asking me a week (or 5) in advance if we were going to get to ride the school bus. For some reason, it didn't soak in that she wasn't going to public school. And every day, her and Ada packed their backpacks for every adventure to the grocery store or the mailbox.
Then on day one Ella complained that we didn't get her new clothes for school... "Mom, could you atleast please DRESS like a school teacher"
So I dressed up and prepared to have everything go swimmingly.... right? Children sitting in their school best waiting silently ... anticipation dripping off their chubby little digits. Constantly, them saying, "please, mom ma'am, may I have another"! Well, I will say, they were excited to start... as Ada said, " I mean, school is starting with a party?" I think she was hoping for cupcakes and party music...
Here's how we began:
We did really well to start, but things went slow. Didn't help that Nyla cried and CRIED and CRRRIIEEDD. And then Ada dropped out, deciding that she didn't care if she learned anything as long as she got to do what she wanted. So I thought I would spring my first day suprise! What an awesome mom I am!!!
I was going to take them on the city bus! I mean, in the school of hard knocks, that's how we roll! So when we get there... we begin to sing the wheels on the bus... but someone uprooted the bus stop sign and we were driving around looking for it... why didn't I just drive the 2 blocks to the library: oh yah, I'm a GREAT MOM!!! Finally we decide we're going to walk to the valet at the hospital to ask where the bus stop is...
oh wait, we were parked right in front of it... and it stopped and took off while we were checking where it was... another one won't be coming by for 20-30 minutes... we got time to kill ... in the sun.
And then Ada had what I like to call... posession. She pulled out her "cell" and beat Zoe to the ground with it... why? well, she looked at me like she was going to make me angry...
so we had to leave the bus stop 5 seconds before it came to just drive to the library!
So party ? Maybe. Bus ride: not quite. But I am dressed like a teacher (in jeans).
And what time do you think school ended. Started at 8am. Ended at 4pm...
Day 2 was much better! Wednesday was Zoe telling her friends what she was learning without being prompted and both girls getting excited as they recited french at the dinner table and thier bible verse for the week to their dad! I am SO PUMPED... now if my brain could work and think outside the school realm and into my sewing and house, and crafts, and friends, and husband, and play!
check in on me soon...

when thought bubbles go bad
Politically correct?
Tactful?
Truth and grace.... together.
I suck at that. My family all agrees that whatever I say needs to be run by Johnny because I have this gift with the word-coming-out-of-my-mouth thing.
And because I KNOW that I have thischallenge ability, I try really hard to keep it in.
This may surprise some of you because I'm what my mom likes to call a talker. (Why is this taking me so long to write.... oh yah, tactless).
Ok! So, I hear people tell me that I'm really hospitable (don't ness. believe it) or that I'm easy to talk to (ahhhahahahah), but when people say really dumb things on facebook, or worse to my face, I feel it....
It bubbles up....
Burns in my chest and my heart and then my throat.
I try to push it down and ignore it, and then I ask this horrible hypothetical: Is this something that SHOULD be said?
Uh oh! That blunt thought that I can't find the gentle way of telling just spills out.
Every time it happens, I lose ATLEAST half a dozen friends... aquaintances... respectable people that I HAVE to associate with.
I'm having one of those moments. The comments are piling up in my brain from the past couple months and they desperately want to come out.
How do you stop? And what's funny is that I realized that a couple of them were telling others to shut their yaps.
So hug me when you see me... tread lightly because my thought bubble is starting to smell ripe.

you're forcing my hand
Zoe: Mom, you never feel good.
Me: I know, why do you think that is?
Zoe: I'm pretty sure it's because of the things that you eat.
Thank you : deep thoughts by Zoe.
I have this problem. I love food. I love to eat. I'm not really concerned about my weight. I have this body dismorphic disorder (and really, I'm not shortchanging real eating disorders) I don't look in the mirror and think that I'm fat; rather the opposite. I think I look good... I don't get it until I see pictures... I mean, who IS that girl.
My real judge of dread when it comes to weight is that I promise to NEVER go over my weight when I was at my max of being preggo with Nyla.
yes, scale! you forced my hand. I am now 6 pounds away from my max. Sticks and Stones, I think NOT! You have officially hurt me. Granted my weight doesn't just flux a lb or 2. I weighed less than a week apart and there was a 10 lb difference and I actually walked a LOT... whaaa
so now I have to do something.
I don't like to diet. I don't like those posts on pinterest because I want to say, " I can't do that". I have 0 motivation... except to stay away from my max... so where do I go from this. I hate making lunch and even if I manage to do so, I hate to eat whatever it is... I hate to think about breakfast and dinner depends on timing and children... AHHHH... you MIGHT hear an update every once in a while. but I'll say this...
Scale: you haven't seen the last of me.

Coming to grips
Alone on the subway
Life is Beauty Full
Vomit clean up Fee
Funky spunky and chunky
Yes... this just says it all.... well, unless you ask a certain someone (not my husband) who has voiced their doubts in my skills even though they have never tried my cuisine.... enough of that...
but... how do I come up with a rocking blog name and page banner... anyone want to help me set it up... really I should have probably renamed this, technologically illiterate part III.
So, if you wanna help a girl with Pizza-zz find a way to express it on page, let me know!
