My dreams took a breather on the couch and forgot to get up

So think about your day.
I'm not talking about making bucket lists or vacationing in Scottland (which I DO plan on doing)... because frankly not every day can we take a tour of the world. What I'm talking bout is the inventory of what you wish you could do in a day.
Here's mine:
Teach School
Be a good wife
Love on my children
Have dinner ready
The laundry (really I could pass with that one, but it'd get expensive to buy new clothes every week)
Have a friend time
Read a book
Work out
Spend time with God
clean the house
drive my kids to ballet (yes 3 days a week if not more)
lie on the couch with a numbing tv
craft
learn a new language

'm sure there's more that I have blacked out. Seriously, how do people do these things. even if we take off the extravagant ones like language and anything related to the house... I still don't know how to do it.
Now before you excuse me with 4 children, or too busy or too creative, or some interesting fact that was already on my obvious meter... these are things that need to be done to be healthy and wise and capable (like I said, except for language and house). Maybe you need to inventory yourself as to why you're excusing me. Are you skinny already? Do you feel like if I achieve this that you'll be left in the dark and you'd like company? Do you want to spare my feelings because you think I'd go insane?
Well, let it go and be helpful. Do I need to regiment my day? Do I need to schedule sex, friends, and personal child time throughout the month? How do I exercise with 4 that walk, don't walk, hate to walk or anything else? How do I get time with God when I burn the candle at both ends and yawn the rest of the time?
So, I sit on the couch, thinking.... and thinking... and really getting NOTHING done in the meantime.
and when you think about juggling analogies or swimming analogies- some people say gradually add the balls to the juggle... or just jump in don't ease... they're both  viable and can be done for a month and then slacked on for another month... and ya ya... gotta be diligent... aren't I diligent with enough: 4 kids and cooking every day and school and BRUSHING MY TEETH...
Can anyone help me: the bottom just dropped out?

Ada crack

This girl doesn't even know she's funny... and addictive

Johnny sAID If I don't tell you about what she said today, I'm a nerd. And God forbid, I be a nerd.

I'm pretty sure Ada cut her nose on the inside. She kept telling me that it stung like a fire ant was up there. But every time I looked at her, she was DIGGING up her nose with her finger. So, she asked me a few times to get the bug out of her nose. So, I took a tissue and pulled a boogie out.

"Mom, is that a gummy sword?"

nice!

Crafts come in different forms

This week. I've been feeling CRAFTEEE

But it isn't anything crazy, just things for school

So here I have to your left my bucket thingy.. I added to the front chalk board labels so if it changes what's inside, I can change along with it. Now , we ALWAYS find what we need. So much better than the giant tupperware we dug through. Plus next to it, we put a crate with all our folders for easy grabbing, and ella's books for school are on the bookshelf.

Ella kept complaining that she never knew what she was supposed to do next, and I HATE to repeat myself. Especially when I frankly don't know and probably don't care 3 hours ahead of time. This way, thanks to pinterest, I took 3 cookie sheets, painted them with chalkboard paint, hotglued ribbon on the back and hung them in the hallway so each girl knew what's up.
I'm sure there's more to do and done... and actually I love crafts... mondays are my hard days...so the girls will soon be doing things that make me smile as we learn what CRAFTS are all about...
Rock on kids!

Woes and Whoas

So, by now you've noticed how really boring my life really is. I don't do crazy things or tons of things; I just have murphy's law follow me.
For instance, today Ada decided she would get my phone for me when it rang... she dropped it and it landed under the oven... UNDER THE OVEN... really?
So what's happened this week.
I chipped my tooth. the one right up front... making a gift for a friend.
I made like a half dozen crafts.... I'm feeling awesome.
I need new happy pills... 'nough said.
My IBS kicked in again.... thanks for the cherry on that. Quote from that day: Ella- What is IBS and why are you calling it to attack people.
I keep forgetting to thaw my meat for dinner. didn't need to eat anyway.
Bought tons of material to make outfits: downer, gotta get everything done by Christmas.
Half of every girl I know is pregnant... but is that anything new?
A girl I "taught" in 6th grade got married... oldness.

Otherwise, I have tons of topics I could share...
The Diva Cup Expiriment (women only)
My thoughts on politics, sex, and life (highly offensive)
The Deps upgrade
School on the Brain
Scheduling and organization
Wearing a fat suit...

Anything else you'd like to hear about let me know

I'm creative, Sew What?

Here's gonna be my new label!
I have been overrun by ideas to do... Let's thank Pinterest!
There's this really funny link (I can't post it because of its obscene amount of language) that this lady does that takes pinterest pins and test them. She only seems to post the failures.
Difference for me: I feel the obsession to ONLY pin the things that I can and WILL do from pinterest. I have to work it out in my brain and see if I can pull it off cheaper, better, or quicker simpler than it was posted for. Also, it has to be useful. REally!! I am not going to do a project that I don't expect to keep...
So here is one I did this week.
I am making taggie blankets (already knew how to do this.) but I added a wrap.
You know "diapees and wipees". it's a small pocketbook that fits a wipes container and maybe if you're LUCKY, 1 diaper. Supposedly it's supposed to be helpful when you don't want to lug a diaper bag.
I found a pin for a velcro wrap that's adjustable for multiple diapers... kinda like a belt. My sweet friend Krystal is having a baby girl and she got the first pick!
you jealous? Sew What!

School (of hard Knocks)

This is What we've named our school!
You wonder why I'm writing you on the THIRD day of school... yah, that's how I'm feeling.
It's going ok, but we had a rough beginning (maybe it's cause I was late on my happy pill dose).
It started with Zoe asking me a week (or 5) in advance if we were going to get to ride the school bus. For some reason, it didn't soak in that she wasn't going to public school. And every day, her and Ada packed their backpacks for every adventure to the grocery store or the mailbox.
Then on day one Ella complained that we didn't get her new clothes for school... "Mom, could you atleast please DRESS like a school teacher"
So I dressed up and prepared to have everything go swimmingly.... right? Children sitting in their school best waiting silently ... anticipation dripping off their chubby little digits. Constantly, them saying, "please, mom ma'am, may I have another"!  Well, I will say, they were excited to start... as Ada said, " I mean, school is starting with a party?" I think she was hoping for cupcakes and party music...

Here's how we began:
We did really well to start, but things went slow. Didn't help that Nyla cried and CRIED and CRRRIIEEDD. And then Ada dropped out, deciding that she didn't care if she learned anything as long as she got to do what she wanted. So I thought I would spring my first day suprise! What an awesome mom I am!!!
I was going to take them on the city bus! I mean, in the school of hard knocks, that's how we roll! So when we get there... we begin to sing the wheels on the bus... but someone uprooted the bus stop sign and we were driving around looking for it... why didn't I just drive the 2 blocks to the library: oh yah, I'm a GREAT MOM!!! Finally we decide we're going to walk to the valet at the hospital to ask where the bus stop is...
oh wait, we were parked right in front of it... and it stopped and took off while we were checking where it was... another one won't be coming by for 20-30 minutes... we got time to kill ... in the sun.
And then Ada had what I like to call... posession. She pulled out her "cell" and beat Zoe to the ground with it... why? well, she looked at me like she was going to make me angry...
so we had to leave the bus stop 5 seconds before it came to just drive to the library!
So party ? Maybe. Bus ride: not quite. But I am dressed like a teacher (in jeans).
And what time do you think school ended. Started at 8am. Ended at 4pm...
Day 2 was much better! Wednesday was Zoe telling her friends what she was learning without being prompted and both girls getting excited as they recited french at the dinner table and thier bible verse for the week to their dad! I am SO PUMPED... now if my brain could work and think outside the school realm and into my sewing and house, and crafts, and friends, and husband, and play!
check in on me soon...

Trial by Error

I'm trying new things... here is one idea for the blog... tell me your thoughts on the revamp.
