Oh I'm so excited... I just received an email that was a Christmas tree sighting.
I don't know if ya'll remember a year or two ago.
Our neighbors behind us refused to get rid of their Christmas tree after the season. I don't know if they wanted it as firewood or what, but they tossed it in the backyard and forgot it. Now, they didn't have a fence at the time, so on a daily basis I woke up to the tree. Around St. patty's day, a couple other neighbors went out and decorated it with green tinsil etc. waiting for them to notice, but they didn't, well, until they put a fence up to keep us out.
Eventually they got rid of their tree around the middle of May.
After that I have had tree sightings up until September of this year...
but after Christmas, everyone got rid of their tree... haven't seen them in the back of trucks, on the side of the highway or in yards...
AND THEN TODAY!!! I got an email that someone in a 90% dominated jewish neighborhood that a Christmas tree was tossed out in the yard...
And so Christmas comes full circle with Easter this year!!!! yay.
on a second-hand note, I did have a friend who purposely tried to keep theirs alive year round and read tips and the tree actually sprouted cones eventually.
on the third-hand, someone else noticed dirt around the middle of january, just to realize it was spiders that hatched...ahhhhhhhhhhh
sweet dreams
